From Friday, 30th November to Sunday, 2nd December – Oulanka National Park, Kuusamo - € 380
Blue twilight is that particular light at the beginning of winter that covers the landscape after the sun has set and before true dark. It is a special and beautiful light, which atmospherically reflects peace, quiet, and silence in nature.
This workshop held in English is for amateur photographers who love nature and want to improve and expand their nature photography skills and creativity while visiting one of the most beautiful and undisturbed areas of North-East Finland, the Oulanka National Park in Kuusamo, located on the border with Russia.
With its rapids, waterfalls, river valleys, sandy banks, swamps, variety of plants and wildlife, and beautiful rugged landscape, the Oulanka National Park is the perfect setting to learn all the secrets of great nature photography.
Participants will spend most of the time in the field taking photographs. Each day will be packed with photography opportunities starting early in the morning. Participants will learn how to shoot in dim light and in darkness with slow shutter speeds (with and without flash), how to shoot the snow and winter scenery, the fundamentals of powerful composition and how to create movement and add feeling and atmosphere to nature photography.
Topics like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, post-production and presentation are also covered.
